Intelligent Controlled Dynamic Voltage Restorer for Improving Transient Voltage Quality

A dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) is developed to stabilize the three-phase load under sudden grid distortion conditions, including sag, swell and unbalance. The DVR composed of a DC\AC inverter DC-link capacitor regarded as energy storage element. When occurs, instant power compensate or absorb realized by resulted in degenerate stabilization performance poor transient quality load. Hence, control for maintaining constant DC plays an important role stabilizing voltage. In this study, improve responses novel recurrent compensation petri fuzzy neural network (RCPFNN) controller firstly proposed replace conventional proportional-integral (PI) (FNN) controllers DVR. detailed structure online learning algorithm RCPFNN are derived.
